This privately owned site has no government affiliation, is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and offers no FCRA-covered service.
Nature of the Site
California Released Inmates is an independent reference resource with no connection to CDCR, BPH, DAPO, a sheriff, jail, court, BOP, ICE, or another government body. It stores no official custody or release records. The site cannot confirm identity or custody, release a person, post bond, or file a government document.
Its statewide pages point to official release-record and offender-search resources, route visitors toward the appropriate county site, and may connect users with outside research tools. “Not found” in any linked system does not by itself establish a California release.
